Pediatrician Sought!
We seek a BC or BE or MD or DO! This is a perm position, No Locums. The hospital would provide a income guarantee for the first year of around $200K. Also relocation and a signing bonus is negotiable. Call is 1:5. There are currently four other pediatricians in the community. Dr. currently sees 3 patients per hour; he likes to spend 20 minutes with each patient; he is willing to work whatever hours it takes to spend this much time with them; last February he saw 26/27 patients per day; during the summer it was 12-15 per day. Dr.’s office has ERM; it is cloud based so can be accessed from anywhere; it’s very easy to learn. Call – three of the pediatricians share call; One Dr. takes 5 days; the other two take the other 25 days; call isn’t bad – a bad day would be considered as having 12 babies in the nursery, 4 c-sections in a day. Clinic is located in the MOB next adjacent to the hospital. The office has three exam rooms; there are 4 office staff members. Candidate should have a sense of humor, knows how to enjoy themselves and have fun, Would prefer someone who Is computer savvy, who is approachable, and has a good personality. Office hours: M-F 9-5 or 8-4; can be flexible; there are lots of options; the candidate could work extra hours if desired. Volume – about 20 patients per day; can do more if desired. During the first year the candidate would be employed; partnership possible after Year 1; there would not be a buy-in. There is an opportunity for additional income – concierge service is being considered for limited number of patients
