Busy single-specialty pediatric group with 3 offices in both Brooklyn and Staten Island is creating a new Pediatric Position that is both unique and hybrid.

Opportunity:

The position requires the doctor to rotate between 5 teaching hospitals within a 20 mile radius. At these hospitals, the doctor is to examine newborns in the nursery, speak to the delivering mothers, and examine sick patients that have been admitted to the pediatric floor from our private offices. The doctor is to consult with subspecialists over the care of the inpatients as well as rotate through the NICUs in the various hospitals. Inpatient and nursery volume varies. Not every hospital will have patients both in the nursery and on the floor on a particular day. Part-time, scheduled hours are apt to start early morning and end in the early afternoon, making it a good opportunity for parents/pediatricians with school age children.

The facilities rotated through are:

Richmond University Medical Center, Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, Lutheran Medical Center, and New York Methodist Medical Center in Brooklyn

Requirements:

Must have a car to drive between multiple hospitals

Excellent communication skills

Excellent bedside manner

Excellent peer-to-peer physician interaction

Motivated self-starter

COMPENSATION:

Starting $75,000

Incentive Bonus Plan
