Monday through Friday practice! Employed!
Practice includes attending deliveries when indicated, Round in the nursery 1 day per week, plus when on call for the weekend. On-Call 2-3 weekday nights per month until 8:00 a.m. the following morning. Share in Weekend Call Rotation with other Pediatricians (1:7 rotation). Call starts 4:30 Friday and ends 8:00 a.m. Monday morning. Patients are seen in the office on Saturday and Sunday for acute visits only. HOURS & PRACTICE INFO: Monday through Thursday: 8:00-8:00 p.m., Friday: 8:00-5:00 p.m. Call weekends: Office opens at 8:00 a.m., Schedule starts at 9:00 until necessary time or as established by patient need. Walk-in time occurs every day but Wednesday from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m., Acutes = 15 or 30 minutes depending on the situation, Physicals = 30 to 45 minutes, Follow-ups = Med. Checks Asthma Checks 30 minutes, 1:1 nurse/physician model (same nurse works with the same physician), Electronic Medical Record: In process of implementing EMR at all practices – registration/scheduling phase completed – clinical record phase in completed
