We are jointly seeking a BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician to develop and lead a regional response to child maltreatment in Northern New England specifically in VT and NH. You will be joining a multidisciplinary team which enjoys excellent institutional support and provides consultations for a variety of clinicians and area Child Advocacy Centers, collaborating with a network of clinicians across the two states.

Collaboration with pediatricians in both states that treat children suffering from sexual abuse, physical abuse, medical abuse, emotional abuse and neglect. Children who need urgent care will be evaluated first in the Emergency Department and referred to the program if appropriate.

Education of medical students, residents, and other health care professionals at institutions in both states are an important part of this position. Academic appointments will be commensurate with experience.

The successful candidate will be based in the Upper Connecticut River Valley on the NH and VT Border. The two locations are only 90 minutes apart on interstate 89, from which numerous beautiful communities with unmatched quality of life are easily accessible and only a few hours from Boston and New York City.
