POSITIONS FOR PEDIATRICIANS
LEHIGH VALLEY HEALTH NETWORK
EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA

If you are an enthusiastic, personable, and compassionate general pediatrician, do not pass up this wonderful opportunity. Join two experienced, collegial employed pediatricians in this intimate, fun-loving, family-oriented pediatric practice with a strong patient following in Allentown, PA. Responsibilities include outpatient care, newborn nursery rounds and participating in outpatient call (1:16 weekdays and 1:5 weekends) that is shared with the large, multi-site, 28-member ABC Family Pediatricians group. A nurse triage group answers most of the overnight calls, and patients needing hospitalization are covered by an in-house team of pediatric hospitalists and intensivists. The Children’s Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital, the only children’s hospital in the region, provides care in over 25 specialties and general pediatrics and includes a Level III NICU, 30-bed inpatient unit, 8-bed PICU and a Pediatric Specialty Center. Lehigh Valley Health Network supports 18 residency and fellowship programs, including a pediatrics residency and is partnered with the University of South Florida to educate medical students in an innovative curriculum. Lehigh Valley Hospital was ranked among the top hospitals in the country for the 18th straight year by U.S. News and World Report. The Lehigh Valley is a beautiful suburban area with excellent schools, numerous colleges and universities, diverse recreational and cultural offerings and a moderate cost of living, conveniently located only 1 hour north of Philadelphia and 1.5 hours west of New York City.
