No visa's. Must have excellent communication skills and command of the English language. Position: BC/BE Pediatricians are needed to be hospital employees. The successful candidate will help establish a solo, start up, hospital-owned, practice with 1 other peds. It serves a primary service area of 35,000 residents and a total service area of 200,000 residents. Call is light with mostly consults. There is a very strong, round the clock hospitalist program in place that handles or ships out most cases. 99% of the practice is outpatient with only 1-2 pediatric inpatients at a time. Call is 1 in 2 or 3. This is a quality of life practice where you will not be slammed busy or up all night on trauma calls. Financial: The compensation package includes an MGMA median salary, paid malpractice and health insurance, paid relocation expenses, paid vacation, and CME allowance. Facility: The Hospital has a modern, well-equipped Emergency Department, a Radiology Department housing a 40-slice CT and a 1.5T MRI, a 12-bed LDRP, and all expected ancillary services. In addition to the main hospital facility the hospital owns and operates a skilled nursing facility, a cancer treatment center, medical office buildings, and an outpatient diagnostic facility. Surgical specialties available include OB/GYN, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, orthopedics, podiatry, general surgery, and urology. Medical consultation is available for internal medicine, pediatrics, nephrology, oncology, cardiology, and pulmonology. Hospital-based specialties include anesthesiology, emergency medicine, hospitalist program, pathology, and radiology. Hospital?s Emergency Department is not a trauma center and emergency GI cases are very infrequent.
