Pediatrician - (Pediatrics - Peds - Pedi) Locum Tenens
Outpatient clinic in Long Island, NY is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician to work March 14th-25th while the doctor is serving jury duty. The provider will be working solo with office staff support and must be well-versed in a Pediatric outpatient setting. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm with no call coverage requirement. Staff Care will cover travel and lodging expenses as well as your Medical Malpractice. A pediatrician(locum tenens) manages the well being and health of children from infancy through 21 years. They work to care for and manage acute and chronic illness, provide general care, focus on reducing infant and child mortality, and help with the early care and detection of child and adolescent disorders. A pediatrician diagnoses and treats illness, injury, malignancies, genetic defects, and organic dysfunctions and disease.
