Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
Our client in Michigan is in need of full time locum's coverage starting in mid-August for at least 3 months and likely extending into next year. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8-5. Weeknight call preferred but will consider all qualified candidates. Weekend shifts and call also preferred but will consider all qualified candidates. The daily volume is 90-120 studies per day with approximately 20-25 CT, 10 US and the rest plain film. MR is not required. Mammography is not required but helpful. The PACS System is Cerner and the Voice recognition is Dolby. The client will consider multiple candidates and licensing for future dates.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
