Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
Excellent opportunity for diagnostic radiologist in northeast Florida. Candidate must be comfortable reading 90-100 studies per day between 2 different facilities. The majority of the studies are mammography, CT, MR, and plain film. The majority of the procedures are mammography procedures which are performed in their outpatient imaging center. The coverage need is ongoing starting in January 2017 and will be 2 week a month flexible on the weeks. For the first quarter the weeks that need to be filled are 1/2, 1/30, 2/27, 3/13, and 3/20. The rest of the year is wide open and flexible at this point in time.

Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
