Pediatrician - (Pediatrics - Peds - Pedi) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatrician needed in a central New York facility for a job opportunity starting in October.The assignment offers a 3-4 day a week schedule with evening call coverage and inpatient rounding in the morning. The provider must be well-versed working in a Primary Care inpatient/outpatient setting.

A pediatrician(locum tenens) manages the well being and health of children from infancy through 21 years. They work to care for and manage acute and chronic illness, provide general care, focus on reducing infant and child mortality, and help with the early care and detection of child and adolescent disorders. A pediatrician diagnoses and treats illness, injury, malignancies, genetic defects, and organic dysfunctions and disease.

Required Qualifications
NY licensed Pediatrician needed (ASAP) 11/3 - Ongoing. CLINIC: 9a-5p, Evening Call: TBD . INPATIENT: Rounding 8a-9a. Type of Patients seen: PEDS, Adolescents, Newborns, 20-25ppd (OP), 2-3ppd (IP), and 90% of the patient base are scheduled. Typical Case Seen: Sick & Well visits, physicals, follow up visits, and may be needed to attend C-Sections & High Risk Pregnancies. Support Staff: NP, LPN's, MOA's. EMR Charting: Mckesson
