Pediatrician - (Pediatrics - Peds - Pedi) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 07/01/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Pediatric clinic two hours East of Nashville, TN is seeking a locum tenens pediatrician to provide coverage for a provider who will be out on vacation. This assignment starts in July and will end at the beginning of August of 2014. The schedule is full-time clinic work Monday through Friday 8am-5:30 pm. This is a fairly busy practice seeing more than 20 patients per day including newborns. A pediatrician(locum tenens) manages the well being and health of children from infancy through 21 years. They work to care for and manage acute and chronic illness, provide general care, focus on reducing infant and child mortality, and help with the early care and detection of child and adolescent disorders. A pediatrician diagnoses and treats illness, injury, malignancies, genetic defects, and organic dysfunctions and disease.
