Pediatrician - (Pediatrics - Peds - Pedi) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Board Eligible or Board Certified Outpatient Pediatrician needed in New York City for an Job opportunity starting in July. This assignment would offer a full time schedule 40hr work week. Great support staff on duty to assist. Provider must speak fluent Spanish and well-versed in a Pediatric setting.
A pediatrician(locum tenens) manages the well being and health of children from infancy through 21 years. They work to care for and manage acute and chronic illness, provide general care, focus on reducing infant and child mortality, and help with the early care and detection of child and adolescent disorders. A pediatrician diagnoses and treats illness, injury, malignancies, genetic defects, and organic dysfunctions and disease.
Required Qualifications
NY Licensed Pediatrician (TEMP TO PERM) needed - 07/01 - 09/30 - Mon- Fri: 8a-5p. Type of patients seen: PED patients seen, 5% newborn, 80% Walk-ins, 20% Scheduled patients seen, Patients per day: 30-35. Typical Cases Seen: Sick & Well Visits, Follow up Visits, and Physicals. Support Staff: 3 x Pediatricians, 1 x MA, Front Desk, and Office manager. EMR CHARTING: Eclinical Works .
