Pediatrician - (Pediatrics - Peds - Pedi) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician needed in a New York City Outpatient clinic for a job opportunity starting in June. This opportunity offers an 8 hour a day schedule. The Pediatrician will need to be well-versed in a Pediatric setting.

A pediatrician(locum tenens) manages the well being and health of children from infancy through 21 years. They work to care for and manage acute and chronic illness, provide general care, focus on reducing infant and child mortality, and help with the early care and detection of child and adolescent disorders. A pediatrician diagnoses and treats illness, injury, malignancies, genetic defects, and organic dysfunctions and disease.

Required Qualifications
Pediatrician needed - Dates / Schedule: June 24th: 9:30a - 2p, June 26th: 9:30a - 6p, and July 3rd: 9:30a - 6p. Certifications: BE/BC, MD or DO, New York Licensed. Type of patients seen: 25 - 30ppd, 90% Scheduled, 10% Walk-ins, average age 0-18, and 10% Newborns. Type of cases seen: Sick & Well Visits, Flu, Preventative Care, and physicals. Prefer someone who has experiences and able to draw blood.
