Pediatrician - (Pediatrics - Peds - Pedi) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatrician needed in a Pennsylvania facility West of Harrisburg to work in an Inpatient & Outpatient setting for a full-time opportunity from June ongoing. This opportunity offers 1 week per month and telephonic call. The provider must be well-versed in a Pediatric setting.
A pediatrician(locum tenens) manages the well being and health of children from infancy through 21 years. They work to care for and manage acute and chronic illness, provide general care, focus on reducing infant and child mortality, and help with the early care and detection of child and adolescent disorders. A pediatrician diagnoses and treats illness, injury, malignancies, genetic defects, and organic dysfunctions and disease.
Required Qualifications
Pediatrician needed (Inpatient & Outpatient)- June thru September dates. Schedule: 8a-5p, Telephonic call required. Certifications: BE/BC, DEA. Clinic & Hospital coverage 20-25ppd. Support Staff: 3xMD, office and hospital staff. Typical Cases Seen: Sick & Well Visits, Ability while on call to respond to emergent C-sections, Rounding in the morning, and preferred is circumcisions, but no a requirement. EMR Charting: e Clinical works.
