Pediatrician - (Pediatrics - Peds - Pedi) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 24 Hour On-Call

Board Eligible / Board Certified - Pediatrician needed in a Pennsylvania Facility for a 24hr call opportunity ongoing. This opportunity offers a 24hr call schedule one week per month starting in March through June and two weeks in July. The provider must be well-versed in an inpatient setting.

A pediatrician(locum tenens) manages the well being and health of children from infancy through 21 years. They work to care for and manage acute and chronic illness, provide general care, focus on reducing infant and child mortality, and help with the early care and detection of child and adolescent disorders. A pediatrician diagnoses and treats illness, injury, malignancies, genetic defects, and organic dysfunctions and disease.

Required Qualifications
Pediatrician needed on call each day 24 hours.
Starting 7:00 am on first day, and ends at 7:00 after the last day. Monday March 25 thru Sunday March 31
Thursday April 25 thru Monday April 29
Monday May 20 thru Monday May 27
Thursday June 6 thru Monday June 10
Monday July 1 thru Monday July 15
Physician does not need to be in the hospital at all times, but they do need to be close enough to provide care. Round on inpatients at least once a day, depending on need. 3-6 inpatients per day. There is a 12-bed birthing unit with 3-5 babies there at any time. Consults in ER and hospital as needed. Attend STAT C-sections. Attend high risk births as deemed necessary (do NOT have a NICU).
