Pediatrician - (Pediatrics - Peds - Pedi) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Board Certified - Pediatrician needed in a New York facility for a job opportunity starting in June This opportunity offers a 4 x day a week: 8a-5p schedule, 32 hour work week. The provider must be well-versed in a Pediatric Outpatient Setting.
A pediatrician(locum tenens) manages the well being and health of children from infancy through 21 years. They work to care for and manage acute and chronic illness, provide general care, focus on reducing infant and child mortality, and help with the early care and detection of child and adolescent disorders. A pediatrician diagnoses and treats illness, injury, malignancies, genetic defects, and organic dysfunctions and disease.
Required Qualifications
Pediatrician (OUTPATIENT) - 06/01 - 09/12 - 4 x days a week: 8a-5p (Client flexible) - BC, DEA, BLS, PALS. Avg age 0-21, Newborn Care 10-15%. Typical Cases: Sick & Well Visits, Follow ups, and Physicals. Support Staff: 3 x NP's, 4 x MD's. EMR Charting: Medent.
