Pediatric Emergency Physician - (EM Peds, ER Peds) Locum Tenens
Staff Care's client in north Texas is currently seeking physicians board certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to assist with their growing Pediatric Emergency Department. This is a great Children's Hospital which sees approximately 25,000 visits annually. Physician will have the opportunity to oversee Family Practice and Pediatric residents as well. Specializing in the diagnosis and care of children and teenagers who are acutely ill, suffering from life-threatening conditions or injured, pediatric emergency physicians(locum tenens) are required to treat a plethora of ailments. These physicians must be able to deal with medical emergencies, often treating patients who have incurred trauma or are suffering from exotic illnesses. As with any pediatric specialty, easing anxiety and pain is paramount in pediatric emergency care.
