Pediatrician - Critical Care - (Ped - Critical Care) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 05/27/2013Available Shifts: 24 Hour On-Call

We have a great opportunity for a Pediatric Critical Care locum tenens physician or independent contractor. We are looking for a minimum of 5 shifts each month. This assignment is long term and can provide you with great supplemental income. These are 24 hour out-of-house call shifts. This is for Level 1 Trauma unit and an average daily census of 4. Staff Care will License for this opportunity!

Serviced by a critical care pediatric specialist, critical care pediatrics (locum tenens) involves the treatment of children facing critical and unstable illness or injury. Some examples of the areas that critical care pediatrics provide care to children are; monitoring, medication, and treatment in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), treatment from brain trauma, placement of special catheters in the heart and lungs, and supervision while on a respirator. Critical care pediatrics and specialists are in-hospital, located within the PICU.

Required Qualifications
Board Certified.
Clean Background.

An amphitheater close to the Civic Center in Englewood is the focal point for visitors of this Rocky Mountain town where many summer concerts take place. Englewood is also famous for the “Broken Tree†golf facility with its award winning golf course complete with an 18 hole championship course. Kids love “Pirates Cove†which is open in the summer and includes a play structure, a six lane pool and 35 foot slide facility which includes three different types of slides.
