Pediatrician - Critical Care - (Ped - Critical Care) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 05/20/2013Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day

We have a great, long term assignment for a Pediatric Critical Care physician. This is a long term locum tenens opportunity with great flexibility. We would like a minimal of 5 shifts each month and willing to work with your schedule. These are 12-14 hour shifts and you can choose between days or nights. You will care for general Pediatric ICU patients and Cardiac Post Op Patients.

Serviced by a critical care pediatric specialist, critical care pediatrics (locum tenens) involves the treatment of children facing critical and unstable illness or injury. Some examples of the areas that critical care pediatrics provide care to children are; monitoring, medication, and treatment in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), treatment from brain trauma, placement of special catheters in the heart and lungs, and supervision while on a respirator. Critical care pediatrics and specialists are in-hospital, located within the PICU.

Required Qualifications
Board Certified.
Clean Background.
