Pediatrician - Critical Care - (Ped - Critical Care) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 24 Hour/Day

Looking for a Pediatric Critical Care Provider. This is for a minimum of 5 block shifts per month at a Level 2 Trauma Center. This is 24 hour out-of-house call, consisting of rounding on an estimate of 4 patients per day and pager call in the evening.

Serviced by a critical care pediatric specialist, critical care pediatrics (locum tenens) involves the treatment of children facing critical and unstable illness or injury. Some examples of the areas that critical care pediatrics provide care to children are; monitoring, medication, and treatment in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), treatment from brain trauma, placement of special catheters in the heart and lungs, and supervision while on a respirator. Critical care pediatrics and specialists are in-hospital, located within the PICU.

Required Qualifications
Fellowship Trained.
Board Certified

Preferred Qualifications
Prefer Candidate that is licensed in Idaho, however, Staff Care will pay for license.
