Intensivist - Physician - (Critical Care Physician) Locum Tenens
Central Utah facility is seeking a Critical Care Medicine (Intensivist) Physician for ongoing coverage. These will be 16 and 24-hour shifts with night call. This is 100% ICU/CCU hospital inpatient coverage. Call a Staff Care recruiter for more details.
Critical care physicians (locum tenens) perform surgical and non-surgical procedures in life management scenarios that frequently involve sophisticated organ support and invasive monitoring. Critical care intensivists work with CC units to save lives, treating patients suffering from conditions such as surgical shock, respiratory failure, and postoperative hemorrhaging. These physicians are trained to work in high stress, critical environments and to treat complex traumas and uncommon medical conditions.
