Intensivist - Physician - (Critical Care Physician) Locum Tenens
St. Louis area facility has immediate and ongoing need for a BC/BE Pulmonary Critical Care or Critical Care Medicine physician. The schedule is 7p-7a with a current need of 12-16 shifts per month. Critical care physicians (locum tenens) perform surgical and non-surgical procedures in life management scenarios that frequently involve sophisticated organ support and invasive monitoring. Critical care intensivists work with CC units to save lives, treating patients suffering from conditions such as surgical shock, respiratory failure, and postoperative hemorrhaging. These physicians are trained to work in high stress, critical environments and to treat complex traumas and uncommon medical conditions.
