Pathologist - (Pathology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Our client in Illinois is seeking a Pathologist for immediate coverage! This assignment is approximately 9 weeks of coverage; Monday-Friday 8a-5p with no weeknight and weekend call. A pathologist (locum tenens) studies the cause and effect of disease on plant and animal life. The field is broad, with a lot of room for specialization. Most pathologists practice in the academic or research sectors, working in medical laboratories or universities. Private companies and branches of the government employ pathologists as well. Medical pathologists typically do not treat patients of their own, but do provide integral information for other physicians in the form of lab work and diagnostic testing.
