An opportunity is available in north NJ for a general ENT to join a private single specialty group practice as their third associate. They are a very busy general ENT practice seeing about 20-25% pediatric patients. Both see general ENT patients, and one partner is also fellowship trained in facial plastics and reconstruction. They work at just one hospital, a 500 bed medical center, which is just one block away from their main office. There is a satellite office (10 mi away) which one physician visits twice a week, and, with the addition of a third partner, they may wish to increase their presence at this location somewhat. The group cross covers with another so that weekend call will be 1:6.
They share everything equally (call, patients) so there is no competition among associates. They typically take one half to one full day off per week but do offer Saturday hours once a month from 8-12 except during the summer. The new physician can expect partnership in two years, a competitive salary plus productivity bonus and complete benefits.
