Due to the impending retirement of a busy endocrinologist we are seeking a BC/BE endocrinologist to join a practice in Southwest, Pennsylvania. The employer is a locally owned and controlled health system with a flagship 545 bed hospital. The system provides regional care to a population of over 200,000 people. You will be busy right away. Expect to see 20-30 patients per day. Call is shared equally at 1:3. The systems diabetes center is educationally focused and works with the patients to self manage their disease. They will provide a very competitive financial package derived from MGMA salary surveys. The community is about one hour from Pittsburgh. The city council has worked hard to make this an enjoyable place to live and has brought in semi-professional sports, music festivals, artists in 'mom and pop' type stores and much more.
