General Practitioner - Physician - (General Practice - GP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A physician is needed to provide services at this outpatient facility starting around the end of June. Working hours are from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
A general practice physician(locum tenens), like a family care doctor, provides primary and ongoing care for their patients, usually serving as the first point of contact when a medical issue arises. These physicians are trained to deal with both the physical and emotional aspects of medicine, often forging lasting bonds with patients and families over generations. Often times, GPs run specialized practices within their offices, providing their patients with specialized treatments in certain medical areas, such as obstetrics, instead of having to refer the patient to another physician.
Required Qualifications
The physician shall have recent experience treating patients in the primary care setting. An active basic life support certification is required prior to the start date
