Medical Doctor position immediately available in a multidisciplinary, integrated medical office in Lexington, SC. This physician will provide evidenced based, patient centered professional medical direction, oversight and direct patient care for the office. The practice focuses on diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. Training is available. Practice puts an emphasis on compliance (has employed and outside compliance company who helped construct current policies, randomly audits and critiques as needed)
- 40-Hour work weeks
- Off Early on Fridays
- No Nights
- No Weekends
- No Call
Competitive salary with malpractice insurance available.
Medical Provider needs to:
- Be licensed to practice in SC
- Present their record of practice
(i.e. insurance history of claims & malpractice)
- Be open minded to physical medicine & rehab
- Present Medicare # (UPIN) or information needed to acquire.
Desirable (but not necessary):
- Working knowledge of Physical Therapy or Exercise Rehab
- Ability to perform Trigger Point Injections
- Ability to perform SI Joint Injections
- Ability to perform Knee Injections
Role of the Medical Provider in the Integrated Setting:
The Medical Provider is the portal of entry for all patients and all services. They are responsible for providing a variety of professional medical services including administering physical examinations, ordering diagnostic imaging if warranted, reviewing diagnostic testing, and performing injections, if medically necessary.
Participate in meetings with allied professionals (i.e. MD, APRN, Chiropractors,etc.) to devise patient centered, and patient specific health care plans in an integrated effort to optimize patient outcomes with care that is customized, comprehensive and convenient. Send resume to
