The Practice:
Altoona Regional has created a dynamic, patient centered,
multi-specialty, orthopedic surgical practice,
Southern Alleghenies Elite Orthopedics, to serve the
residents of Central Pennsylvania. Elite Orthopedics is
currently comprised of 3 orthopedic surgeons (and 2
PAs) and is actively recruiting for an additional four
surgeons. State-of-the-art orthopedic office suite
located on hospital campus with easy access to a six-
OR ambulatory surgery center, located on hospital
campus, and adjacent to the main,12-OR, operating
suite.

The Health System:
Altoona Regional Health System is a 500-bed regional
health care system providing care to residents of a six
county area in Central Pennsylvania. As a regional
healthcare provider, Altoona Regional is a Level II
trauma center, regional oncology and cardiac center,
and a JCAHO-certified stroke center.

The Altoona/Blair County/Central Pennsylvania region
is a family-oriented community with excellent school

larger, neighboring cities, and unlimited outdoor and
