Orthopedic Surgery (430,000-460,000)
• Board certified/eligible Orthopedic Surgeon for general Orthopedics to join N’Orthopedics, as part of the Medical Group, employed by Memorial Hospital.
• Candidate will have completed Adult Reconstruction or Advanced Total Joint training for consideration as we plan for succession in the practice.
• Busy general Orthopedic practice with three physicians and two physician assistants.
• Call schedule one in four
• Full time office practice located in a beautiful facility, about 3 miles off site from hospital with on site radiology services
• Flexible scheduling with designated surgery days
CANDIDATE/POSITION PROFILE NEEDS:
• Seeking compassionate, caring, high quality physician candidates to join our team.
• Stable work/training history without a record of license suspension or disciplinary actions to be eligible for consideration.
• Board certified or eligible if with plans to complete certification within two years of completion of training
• Strong computer skills preferred with prior electronic medical record use.
• Employed positions as part of the Medical Group, a multispecialty group of 36 primary and specialty care providers affiliated with Memorial Hospital.
• Primary care positions eligible to apply for state loan repayment program and NHSC funds.

FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS
• Is a progressive JCAHO accredited, community hospital that operates 3 rural health clinics and maintains high standards for the quality of staff and patient care.
• 46 Bed acute care facility with 34 bed skilled nursing unit attached.
• Memorial Hospital is fully JCAHO accredited and includes three federally certified Rural Health Clinics.
• Average 5-8 patient admissions a day, with 15-18 average daily inpatient census, which includes FP, IM, Peds, Surgery and Orthopedic patients.
• 24 hour physician staffed Emergency Department
• State of the art facilities with recently renovated patient service areas including the Surgical suite, Laboratory, Radiology with large bore MRI and 64 slice CT scanner, Rehabilitation Services, and more.
• Quality conscious staff and proactive administrative team provide an excellent working environment.
• Physicians practice broad based medicine and enjoy a wide variety of cases due to the minimal amount of subspecialties on site but locally available for consultation.
• Operates the Medical Group, MedCare Walkin Clinic, Medical Clinic, which are also certified rural health clinics, as well as N’Orthopedics, Oncology/Infusion Center and partners with Community Hospital in Dialysis Services of Gaylord.
• Intergy Electronic Medical Record is shared with group and hospital’s Meditech system.
• Hospital serves nine communities in two counties with a service area of approximately 40,000.
• Specialty services, such as OB/Gyn, General and Orthopedic Surgery draw patients from over a 100 mile radius.
