Looking for additional spine surgeon to join a busy practice in the mountains of western North Carolina. This hospital-employed position will offer an attractive salary, benefits package, relocation plus other incentives. The office currently has one spine surgeon and two physician assistants. Call requirements will be 1:4 (no general ortho call), with the advanced practitioners sharing in call rotation. There is limited emergency call. The patient volume is expected to be about 20-25 patients per clinic day for each physician. There are 2.5 clinic days per week. Surgeries should be about 2-3 surgeries on operating room days and there are 2 surgery days per week. There is an ample amount of primary care physicians to support this additional surgeon. The imaging is provided by a very responsive radiology team using state-of-the-art equipment. There is spacious office space conveniently located on the 2nd floor of the main HRMC building, with the operating room located on the 1st floor of the same building.
