Brookwood Medical Center and Powell & Jones Orthopedics Center are looking to add a fellowship-trained Spine ORS to their team. The practice is growing, and they would like to expand their lines of service.
Powell & Jones Orthopedics Center specializes in Orthopedics, Arthroscopy & Sports Medicine, and Joint Replacement surgery for the hip, knee, and shoulder. Our Birmingham orthopedic surgeons offer comprehensive care for sports injuries, work-related injuries, hand & wrist pain, shoulder & elbow pain, hip & knee pain, foot & ankle pain, neck & back pain.
There are currently 3 practicing Physicians and 2 Physician’s Assistants.
Enjoy Monday – Friday : 8am-5pm hours and call of 1:10. The average daily patient census is 40-50 Outpatient Visits per MD per clinic day.
The physician would have privileges at Brookwood Medical Center & Birmingham Surgery Center for majority of cases and also privileged at St. Vincent’s Hospital & Trinity Medical Center.
The ideal candidate would be someone with local connections to the Birmingham Metro area to do general orthopedics to build practice and sub-specialize as they grow. The candidate would also have an outgoing and energetic personality to compliment that of current partners. We are looking for someone who is FELLOWSHIP TRAINED in ORS Spine, has a favorable malpractice history, and is BE/BC.
