Perfect for the outdoor enthusiast but also close to Chicago! Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity in a Beautiful Area of Illinois!
As the incoming surgeon, you'll practice in an environment that will offer a comfortable work-life balance in a community of about 26,000 residents to replace a retired Orthopedic Surgeon. Practice is very busy with about 250-450 surgical cases per year. The ideal candidate will have a broad-based general orthopedic surgery background. Required procedures include total knee and total hip replacement and an interest in minimally invasive joint replacement is preferred.
This practice can also consider a hand or spine subspecialist, but general orthopedic surgery is the primary aspect of the opportunity. Subspecialty work could eventually encompass 30-40% of the practice. Call is (1:4), and you will be joining a practice with 2 other orthopedic surgeons and a very experienced and productive Orthopedics PA along with RN and MA support.
