BALTIMORE, MARYLAND: ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON WITH A JOINT REPLACEMENT/ADULT RECONSTRUCTION OR SPORTS MEDICINE FELLOWSHIP NEEDED! Join a busy Group of Four Orthopedic Surgeons with Fellowships in either Joint Replacement/Adult Reconstruction or Sports Medicine, part of a well-respected and well-established Group of Orthopedic Surgeons, is seeking to add an additional Orthopedic Surgeon with a fellowship in joints or Sports Medicine, due to increased volume and area growth! As part of a large teaching hospital, this Advanced Orthopedic Group is one of three Centers of Excellence that make up a highly-acclaimed Advanced Orthopedics department. They include a Center for Joint Preservation, International Center for Limb Lengthening and Hand Surgery and Upper Extremity.

This group of Advanced Orthopedics is home to some of the world’s most renowned orthopedic surgeons and offers state-of-the-art treatment in a variety of orthopedic services for both children and adults. With a medical team of more than 250 professionals, they perform approximately 4,300 orthopedic procedures and conducts more than 36,000 office visits annually. In addition, they have earned a global reputation for their limb lengthening expertise as well as their innovative techniques for joint preservation and replacement.

The Center for Joint Preservation and Replacement prides itself on optimizing the use of non-surgical interventions, such as physical therapy and injections to enhance joint preservations. Once surgical intervention is deemed necessary, their joint replacement specialists use the latest in hip and knee replacement techniques. Their specialists are also experts in the treatment of bone and joint infections.

With access to operating rooms and highly specialized teams that exclusively practice orthopedics, this dynamic Institute offers the advantages of “a hospital within a hospital”. Patients receive the full continuum of care including initial consultations, surgical and non-surgical services, hospital stay, as well as inpatient and outpatient physical therapy.
