Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon - (Surgery - OMFS - OMS - MaxFac) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Private group practice seeking Oral Surgeon or General Dentist comfortable with the following setting: 2 days per week in North Carolina around the Clinton/Bladenboro area traveling between the 2 offices. Providers can be considered for contract or a possible permanent position. Must be comfortable with complicated extractions to include wisdom teeth and sedation. Implantation and TMJ a plus but not required. Will see @ 25 patients per day. Will travel two separate offices and will have 5 rooms at one location and 6 at the other. Provider will be accompanied by 3-4 expanded function assistants.
An oral surgeon, also known as a maxillofacial surgeon, (locum tenens)is a surgical specialist who works within the dental profession to treat medical conditions that affect the mouth, teeth and jaw. Oral surgeons perform procedures such as tooth removal, dental implant surgery and facial trauma. Oral surgeons perform a wide range of procedures and work closely with dentists and orthodontists to provide total oral care.
