Ophthalmologist - Physician - (Ophthalmology - Ophth) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 07/07/2014Available Shifts: 40 Hours/Week

Location: South East Massachusetts
Schedule: Full or Part Time in the clinic
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Length of Assignment: Minimum 3 months
Additional information: Must be able to perform Cataract Surgery

An ophthalmologist(locum tenens) is a physician that diagnoses and treats disorders of the eye, including glaucoma, eye injuries and vision problems. Often time, ophthalmologists see patients who have been referred to them by optometrists or primary care providers for specialized eye treatment. These physicians will examine the eyes with a variety of instruments, make diagnoses, prescribe medicine and perform surgeries as needed.
