Full Time BC Ophthalmologist Needed in Modesto, California!
Sylvan Eye Associates is seeking a full time Ophthalmologist for private practice opportunity.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
• Private practice opportunity
• Group: Sylvan Eye Associates - [Register to View] /> • Corneal or Glaucoma Fellowship training preferred
• Foreseeable practice profile will be 75% general ophthalmology, 25% corneal/glaucoma
• Lasik work wide open in community
• Potential to do 400/500 cataract surgeries/yr.
• Potential earnings: $350,000-400,000
• Partnership track
• 1 retinal specialist, 2 ophthalmologists, 4 optometrists, 7 frame stylists, 1 low-vision specialist and a supporting staff of 40
• Relocation package (offered from hospital) includes year 1 income guarantee (based on MGMA guidelines), sign-on bonus, relocation expenses, malpractice/tail coverage, CME allowance
ABOUT THE FACILITY
• Only Level III NICU in roughly 100 mile radius
• Maternal and Neonatal Transport Teams in place, Intermediate Pediatric Unit, Pediatric Hospitalist program, strong Neonatology support
• Hospital receives transfers from 6 feeder hospitals in the region
• Hospital responsible for approximately 4,000 deliveries per year
• Hospital is a member of CPQCC (California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative) - [Register to View]
• Large multi-specialty group consisting of 28 physicians: 7 General/Trauma Surgeons, 4 Urologists, 3 Cardiovascular Surgeons, 3 Gastroenterologists, 2 ENTs, 3 Internists, 3 FPs, 1 Ortho Surgeon, 1 Rheumatologist, 1 Endocrinologist
• Group: Greater Modesto Medical Surgical Associates (G.M.M.S.A.), an affiliate of First Choice Physician Partners – [Register to View]
• Non-profit Medical Foundation model allows physicians to enjoy the autonomy of private practice with the security of being employed
• Medical Foundation manages all administrative duties for physicians including marketing, staffing, billing/collecting, etc.
