Job Description:
Due to rapid growth, Regional Cancer Program invites applicants for a new faculty position in the division of hematology oncology.
Our program is based at the Medical Center and at the Center for Cancer Care, a uniquely-designed, integrated ambulatory center located in Springfield, MA, and also supports the two community hospitals.
The successful candidate will be board certified in internal medicine and BC/BE in medical oncology or hematology/oncology, and will be expected to participate in clinical trials as part of the division’s research efforts.
Clinical interest in hematology or aerodigestive tract malignancies would be advantageous.
The division has currently 7 faculty members, 4 nurse practitioners, an active clinical research program (ECOG, NSABP, industry, and investigator-initiated studies) and a fully-accredited hematology oncology fellowship program.
Medical Center is the western campus of Tufts University School of Medicine; a faculty rank commensurate with experience and ample teaching opportunities can be expected.
