Hematology-Oncology Physician Needed in Ashland, Kentucky

King's Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) is assisting a private hematology/oncology practice in its recruitment efforts.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
• The practice is located on the campus of King's Daughters, a fully-accredited cancer center that provides comprehensive medical, radiologic and surgical cancer care.
• In addition, the medical center provides 24/7 imagine services and features the most advanced technology, including 3T MRI, 256-slice CT, and PET/CT.
• Call is 1:6.
• King's Daughters offers very competitive pay and benefits, including
• $3,000/three days CME allowance first year; $5,000/five days years two and three
o 29 paid days off annually
o $5,000 for moving expenses; $3,000 for relocation expenses

ABOUT THE FACILITY
• Since opening its doors in 1916, King’ Daughters Medical Center has provided the people of Ashland, and surrounding counties in Kentucky and Ohio with outstanding Medical care. The Medical Center boasts several Centers of Excellence: Center for Healthy Living, Family/Primary Care, Heart and Vascular Center, Nephrology and Hypertension Care, Neuro Medicine, Oncology, Orthopedics, Sleep Medicine Center, Wound Care Center, and Women’s Health.
• King’s Daughters uses the latest advances in microsurgery, minimally invasive procedures and computer-assisted / image-guided surgery.
• King's Daughters Center for Advanced Imaging provides the latest technology in CT, MRI and PET scanning, allowing our surgeons to take spine and brain surgery further.
• King’s Daughters Medical Center also features clinics located throughout eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio, including Olive Hill, KY, Morehead, KY and Grayson, KY. Our Family Care and Medical Specialty clinics feature skilled primary care physicians and mid-level providers. The clinics provide many convenient services for patients, including:
o X-ray (some centers feature CT and mobile MRI) laboratory testing;
o extended hours and weekends;
o Urgent care available in some centers;
o sub-specialty care (cardiology, ENT, dermatology) provided in some centers
