A healthcare technology company in New York City is actively seeking a licensed Oncologist for a promising position with their staff. In this role, the Oncologist will be responsible for performing consultative work for the company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a board eligible / certified Oncologist to gain valuable work experience and further their career with an established company in Manhattan.


The Oncologist position is accompanied with a competitive compensation and benefits package. Responsibilities includes:

  • Engaging in internal relationships between (engineering, providers, product, delivery & analytics)
  • Variety of special projects that make sense to be done from the point of view of Oncology / Medical or Head of Science
  • Supporting the Oncology team with relevant data analysis and project management and ensuring that internal and external client expectations are met
  • Being able to speak thoroughly about their industry – clinical perspective needed to be the content expert
  • Reviewing Oncology terminology to help us interpret and organize clinical oncology data
  • Having a high comfort level with technology and familiarity with EMR systems, including the ability to recommend system improvements and interact with engineering staff
  • Identifying, maintaining and updating cancer specific treatment regimens and stratify which regimens appear for various disease, stage, and treatment settings
  • Interacting closely with informatics team to curate and update oncology diagnostic factors
  • Integrating references to third party clinically focused oncology medical content
  • Collaborating with the company's medical team to assure clinical accuracy of medical information in technology platforms and materials.
  • Providing clinical assistance to colleagues responsible for technology development and client operations
  • Providing post-program executive summaries, editing print materials for clinical accuracy
  • Attending annual society meetings and other scientific congresses if applicable
