Opportunity:
As the incoming fellowship trained, BC Oncologist or Hematologist-Oncologist, you'll join a multidisciplinary disease Thoracic Oncology team.
Practice Highlights include:
• An academic focused position involved in the education of Hematology/Oncology Fellows and developing and participating in innovative thoracic oncology clinical trials.
• Established Cancer Center with approved certificate for 6-story cancer tower to be completed in 2017.
• Hospital privileges at a level 1 trauma center, with over 900 beds.
• Robust disease teams with Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Nurse Navigators, Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants and Social Workers.
• Large medical campus with state-of-the-art equipment including a Gamma Knife, a Cyber Knife and a full spectrum of radiology services.
• Built in referral network from 29 county service area.
• Inpatient services covered by Hematology Oncology Fellows and Internal Medicine Residents.
The Cancer Center provides outpatient cancer treatment services. Through clinical trials, cancer patients have access to the latest, most promising treatments. Its expert staff is a resource for patients wanting to learn how to manage their illness and take advantage of services available close to home.
Compensation:
This is an employed position with incentive based productivity and quality initiatives. Benefits may include: relocation assistance, vacation/PTO, malpractice (with tail), 401K, health/dental insurance, disability, life, and an annual stipend may also be possible.
