Vidant Medical Group and The Leo Jenkins Cancer Center (LJCC) are seeking an experienced, fellowship trained, BC Oncologist or Hematologist-Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary disease site teams as Program Director of Malignant Hematology. Candidates need to have experience in Malignant Hematology.
Highlights include:
An academic focused position to Direct the Malignant Hematology Program clinical services, research and education of Hematology/Oncology Fellows of the LJCC
Established Cancer Center (LJCC)with approved certificate for 6-story cancer tower to be completed in 2017
Hospital privileges at Vidant Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center, with over 900 beds
Robust disease teams with Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Nurse Navigators, Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants and Social Workers.
Large medical campus with state-of-the-art equipment including a Gamma Knife, a Cyber Knife and a full spectrum of radiology services
Employed position with incentive based productivity and quality initiatives
Built in referral network from 29 county service area
Excellent compensation and benefit packages
Hematology Oncology Fellows and Internal Medicine Resident covered in-patient service
The Leo W. Jenkins Cancer Center provides outpatient cancer treatment services on the medical campus of Vidant Medical Center and the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
