The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James) and the Division of Medical Oncology, currently with 40 faculty, is seeking an experienced medical oncologist at the associate or full professor level for the oversight of clinical operations for the division and to develop initiatives for multimodality care in collaboration with The James world class surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists and other miscellaneous cancer oriented specialties.

Responsibilities for this position include:
• Providing an active leadership role within the division
• Functioning as the primary contact for faculty and clinical staff
• Providing clinical direction and support to optimize patient care and satisfaction
• Developing, reviewing, and approving patient care policies, procedures, protocols and order sets
• Optimizing patient access to medical services
• Supervising mid-level providers
• Establishing and implementing strategies to grow inpatient admissions and outpatient visits
• Delivering high quality, state-of–the-art care across faculty
• Participating in faculty recruitment
• Ensuring high faculty satisfaction through one-on-one communication and mentoring
• Supporting financial welfare of the division and participation on finance committee
• Developing and implementing multimodality initiatives as the James transitions into new state of the art inpatient and outpatient facilities.
