Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 08/03/2015Available Shifts: 12 Hour/Day
Hospital in beautiful Minneapolis, MN is seeking Radiation Oncologist for coverage 7/16/2015 - 9/11/2015. Weekly schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Hours are 7:30a - 4:00p. Average of 15-20 patients per day under beam, 0-4 consults. Contact Staff Care today for further details.
A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients. Offering comfort and stability is also paramount in radiation oncology, as these health care professionals often form lasting and emotional relationships with their patients.
