Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day Shift
Radiation Oncologist needed at central eastern Ohio cancer facility. This is an immediate opportunity that will be ongoing until a permanent physician is recruited. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8a.m. - 4:30p.m. The physician will be required to perform IMRT, IGRT, and 3D CRTs, as well as attend tumor board meetings. A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients.
