Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day Shift

Radiation Oncologist needed at central eastern Ohio cancer facility. This is an immediate opportunity that will be ongoing until a permanent physician is recruited. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8a.m. - 4:30p.m. The physician will be required to perform IMRT, IGRT, and 3D CRTs, as well as attend tumor board meetings. A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients. Offering comfort and stability is also paramount in radiation oncology, as these health care professionals often form lasting and emotional relationships with their patients.
