Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Facility in north Michigan seeks a Radiation Oncologist for clinical coverage. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 8a-5p and Friday 8a-4p; no nights, call or weekends. The patient census is 17-25 per day. Temporary privileges are available. Board certification is required. Call a Staff Care representative today if you are interested.

A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients. Offering comfort and stability is also paramount in radiation oncology, as these health care professionals often form lasting and emotional relationships with their patients.
