Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Radiation Oncologist needed for a week of coverage in October. The clinic schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:30p with no call. Physician must be board certified and will be overseeing treatment plans. Procedures will include IMRT, IGRT, & 3D CRT. No brachytherapy required. If you are interested in learning more please call a Staff Care representative for more details!
A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients. Offering comfort and stability is also paramount in radiation oncology, as these health care professionals often form lasting and emotional relationships with their patients.
Required Qualifications
Physician will see on treatment patients and follow ups. Procedures expected are IMRT, IGRT, & 3D CRT. No brachytherapy required.
