Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all clinical cancer programs, projects and activities within the hospital system for oncology service lines
• Formulate the vision, strategy, and objective of the Cancer Program Clinical Services
• Liaison between oncology, non-oncology and referring medical staff throughout the hospital system and community
• Promote clinical research activities while establishing linkages with University affiliations
Requirements:
• MD/DO
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Surgery, or Radiation Therapy
• Strong clinical and administrative experience in a significant physician leadership role
• Previous experience with leadership in a cancer programming, teaching, and/or research role
• Ability to build consensus and resolve conflict and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in cancer care and the mission and vision of a community teaching hospital
