Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Our client is looking for Radiation Oncology coverage from a Kentucky licensed Radiation Oncologist. Coverage will be Monday through Friday and require rotating weekend and evening call coverage. The Radiation Oncologist will see a variety of cancer cases including lung, head and neck, prostate, and breast. A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients. Offering comfort and stability is also paramount in radiation oncology, as these health care professionals often form lasting and emotional relationships with their patients.

Required Qualifications
Candidate must be proficient in IMRT and IGRT. Physician will also be expected to take call. BC/BE within 1 year.

Preferred Qualifications
Client prefers Radiation Oncologist to be Board Certified. But, they will take BE within 1 year.
