Radiation Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - Rad Onc) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

A radiation oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes radiation therapy procedures to manage and treat tumors and cancers. These physicians are trained to understand how gamma and x-rays can be used to target and affect a variety of cancers, utilizing radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy and stereostatic radiosurgery to treat their patients. Offering comfort and stability is also paramount in radiation oncology, as these health care professionals often form lasting and emotional relationships with their patients.

El Centro is a city on the outskirts of San Diego and the largest city in Imperial Valley. Located at the eastern side of the Southern California Border Region there is an extension of San Diego State University on El Centro which offers Bachelors and Masters Degrees. In 1540 the Spanish explorer Melchor Diaz was one of the first Europeans to visit this area.
