Oncologist - Physician - (Oncology - ONC) Locum Tenens
A Northeastern Wisconsin medical facility is currently seeking an Oncologist to assist with locum tenens coverage August 15-26. Locums physician will work in an outpatient setting. Candidates will see bread & butter Oncology patients. Interested candidates should contact a Staff Care consultant for additional information regarding this and other exciting opportunities.

An oncologist(locum tenens) is a physician who has specialized in the study and treatment of cancer. Medical oncologists perform many diagnostic tests when assessing new patients, such as biopsies and blood work. After determining the stage of the cancer and a prognosis, they begin treating their patients, making use of a range of medical procedures including chemotherapy and other medications. Monitoring the patient is an important aspect of medical oncology, and oncologists frequently perform diagnostic tests throughout treatment to examine the efficacy of the medication or medical procedures.
